Chuck Downes is the Owner and Executive Chef for Black Rock Grille Food Truck, which he opened in April 2012. He is committed to making simple…but interesting, good food with the best ingredients. Chuck swears by making everything by hand, from the mayonnaise to the guacamole to the hand-cut fries, and NEVER uses any frozen ingredients. He also grills the burgers on a black rock basalt stone (hence the name, Black Rock Grille!) that adds intense flavor while getting the perfect sear on each and every burger.
